Thanks to Trader Joe's, everyone—including vegans and lactose-intolerant folks—can enjoy the creamy, herby deliciousness that is ranch dip! One of our staffers was doing a little shopping yesterday and discovered Vegan Ranch Dip right by the hummus and pesto.
The crazy part? This dip uses coconut cream to give it that creamy, indulgent flavor we love about classic ranch—without any help from eggs or dairy. Trader Joe's Vegan Ranch Dip is made with coconut cream, canola oil, water, red wine vinegar, parsley, garlic, sea salt, shallots, chives, black pepper, dill and xanthan gum—overall a pretty clean product.
The herbiness is spot-on, but this dip is a tad sweeter than traditional ranch from the coconut cream. While it's not *exactly* the perfect texture for salads, it's definitely tasty with pretzels, veggies, pita chips or pretty much anything else you feel like dipping in it!
This plant-based ranch dip has 100 calories, 11g fat, 4g saturated fat, 1g carbs, 0g sugar, 0g fiber, 0g protein and five percent of your daily sodium limit per two-tablespoon serving. We think this is a delicious (and pretty healthy) way to get your family—or yourself—to eat more veggies.
